Why Choose Our Structure?

Solar Mounting Structures: The Engineered Foundation of Your System
A solar system is only as strong as the structure that holds it up. In Pakistan, where wind storms during pre-monsoon and heavy monsoon rains are seasonal constants, a high-quality, corrosion-resistant structure is the difference between a system that lasts 30 years and one that becomes a hazard. At Pacer Solar, we provide engineered mounting solutions that prioritize structural integrity and roof safety.
Corrosion Resistance
Materials like Hot-Dipped Galvanized (GI) and Aluminum prevent rust for 25+ years.
Wind Load Validated
Engineered to withstand wind speeds of up to 150 km/h, ensuring your panels stay put.
Customized Fitting
Whether it's a flat roof, tin shed, or elevated structure, we tailor the design to your space.
Material Matters: Choosing Between GI, Aluminum, and Iron
Not all mounting materials are created equal. Hot-Dipped Galvanized (GI) steel is the standard for most Pakistani residential projects; it offers the density required for wind stability and a thick zinc coating that prevents rust for decades. Aluminum structures, while more expensive, are 100% rust-proof and significantly lighter, making them ideal for coastal cities like Karachi or for installations on weaker roof types. We strictly advise against using simple painted iron, as the paint peels in the summer sun, leading to internal rusting that can compromise the entire array within 2-3 years.
Solar Design Types and Their Applications
| Design Type | Best For | Ideal Tilt | Maintenance Access |
|---|---|---|---|
| L1 (Single Row) | Narrow Balconies / Roofs | 10 - 15 Degrees | Excellent |
| L2 (Double Row) | Standard Residential | 12 - 18 Degrees | Very Good |
| Elevated (10ft+) | Functional Rooftops | Structural dependent | Good |
| Wall Mount | Limited Space / Facades | Vertical / Variable | Moderate |
The Pacer Structural Safety Standards
Elevated Structures: Reclaiming Your Roof Space
In densely populated cities like Lahore, roof space is a luxury. An elevated structure (usually 8ft to 12ft high) allows you to install a full-sized solar system while still using the roof for gardening, sitting, or clothes drying. These structures require specialized engineering to ensure they are top-heavy balanced and wind-resistant, a specialty of the Pacer Solar engineering team.
